What's the difference between Plasma and LCD?

Plasma uses gases to create the picture on the screen. This results in a better depth of picture and colour, and is also ideal for gaming and sports due to the low response time.

LCD uses liquid crystal to display the image. This results in thinner TV’s and less light reflection.
